Parecía que nunca llegaría, pero la que probablemente haya sido su peor temporada, se ha convertido en el mayor de los éxitos. Tras cuatro galas de sinsabores, “Juego de Tronos” al fin de ha ido con la saca llena de una edición de los Emmy. La exitosa ficción de la HBO lograba hacerse con 12 de los 24 premios a los que optaba, convirtiéndose así en la serie que más premios ha ganado en una sola edición, superando los 8 de “El ala oeste de la Casa Blanca”.
El premio a la mejor serie de Drama, a la mejor dirección, al mejor guión y al mejor actor secundario (Peter Dinklage) se convertían en las perlas de una docena de galardones de categoría técnica en su mayoría. Al mismo tiempo, “Veep” lograba hacerse con el grueso de premios en comedia, dejando a “Modern Family” como una de las grandes derrotadas de la noche.
