Globos de Oro
La Asociación de la Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood ha vivido tiempos difíciles. Después de las acusaciones sufridas por su falta de diversidad racial y machismo, los Globos de Oro incluso veían amenazadas su existencia. Así, después de varios cambios y de un lavado de cara radical a su organización, llegaba la 80 edición de sus preciados galardones. Los de la redención.
Si durante mucho tiempo se les consideró la antesala de los Oscar, ahora su valor se siente como meramente testimonial. Y es que tan empeñados han estado en quedar bien con todo el mundo que cuesta ver auténtico peso de cara a los Oscar. Tanto en las categorías cinematográficas como las televisivas resulta evidente que se ha intentado complacer a propios y extraños. ¿El resultado? Un palmarés con espacio para Spielberg y The Fabelmans, para Almas en pena en Inisherin, para Todo a la vez en todas partes y para intérpretes de color, caucásicos y orientales.
