Pero Jackson es todo un visionario al que no le falta valor y desde el infinito amor y respeto al libro original, se sacaba de la manga esta magnífica adaptación, ganadora de diecisiete Oscar de los treinta a los que optó. Así las cosas, solo era cuestión de tiempo que se empezase a hablar de “El Hobbit”. El germen de “El Señor de los anillos” tenía que llevarse a la pantalla sí o sí. Empezaban, de este modo, las múltiples tentativas de adaptar “El Hobbit”. Casi diez años plagados de calamidades, retrasos e, incluso, el abandono de Guillermo del Toro, el que iba a ser su director. Seguramente les parezca que tardamos demasiado en centrarnos en la película en sí, pero todo esto se antoja imprescindible para entender las dimensiones de “El Hobbit”.
